The cats behind the dot-cat
Meet the family
Three very different personalities, one shared home, and an archive full of evidence.

The namesake · born April 16, 2008
Frida
Frida is the orange ringleader and chief planner of all household cat activities. At 18, she remains committed to getting brushed, stalking Link, and securing any trace of eggs, cheese, oil, or butter.
She is also the reason health advocacy belongs here. Frida has lived with feline diabetes for ten years—a long chapter built around attentive care, routine, and a close relationship with her veterinary team.
Nicknames
Boobs, Dolly, Frida Claws, Fridcicle, Mom
Favorite things
Getting brushed, strategic stalking, and the post-litter-box victory lap.

Resident mischief · born March 25, 2009
Link
Link is Frida and Chloe’s stepbrother. At 17, he remains a committed night owl with a gift for startling unsuspecting litter-box users.
His vet file may carry a bright “Danger” sticker, but his story also helps draw attention to pica—the persistent urge to chew or eat non-food materials. It can carry serious risks and deserves veterinary attention.
Nicknames
Sir, Linkaroo, Link the Stink, Linkalottapus
Favorite things
Shrimp, beef, pork, chicken, insomnia, and keeping everyone alert.

In loving memory · 2008–2018
Chloe
Chloe was Frida’s twin sister and, by every account, a very good girl. She loved belly rubs, brushing, hamburgers, cheese, and putting food into her water with mysterious purpose.
Chloe passed in 2018 from heart disease. Her place here is both a celebration and a reminder that cats can hide illness well; regular veterinary care and attention to changes matter.
Nicknames
Chunky, Chloe girl
Remembered for
Gentleness, excellent belly-rub etiquette, and making every mealtime her own.
